Margie Kieper

Professional Interests

Margie Kieper's primary research interests are in the area of tropical meteorology: tropical cyclone intensification and life cycle structure of rainfall and convection, including current intensification estimates. These research studies utilize 37 GHz microwave satellite data and TRMM PR vertical radar profiles.
